US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $244.4 million of net inflows on Wednesday, bringing the first three positive sessions of August to a combined $626 million, according to data cited by Cointelegraph.

BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust accounted for about $479 million over the three-day period and pushed its cumulative net inflows close to $61 billion. Bitcoin traded near $64,700 while a widely followed sentiment gauge remained in the “extreme fear” range, showing that fund flows and short-term market mood are not moving in lockstep.

Other crypto funds diverged. Spot Ether ETFs added $60.9 million on Wednesday, taking their two-day total to $114.6 million. XRP funds recorded $3.58 million of net outflows, leaving total assets just below $1 billion.

Why it matters

The renewed Bitcoin inflows show regulated demand returning after a weaker period, but the dispersion across products argues against treating “crypto ETF flows” as one trade. Fund-specific concentration and different asset narratives remain important, and three sessions are not enough to establish a durable trend.
